Paulina Lake Lodge Vintage Ride and Show

No snow in the parking lot, but plenty on the
trails greeted the LaPine Lodgepole Dodgers
and local vintage sleds fans to the 10 Mile Snow Park near the Paulina Lake
Lodge.
Eight vintage sleds were registered for the Dodgers annual poker run
participants to vote on.
As other vintage sleds showed up through out the day, votes were cast, drawings
were held
and full houses beat down the straights and two pairs. A lunch ride to the lodge
and a vintage
sled race ( of sorts ) back to 10 Mile completed the days events.

Winning 1st and 2nd place was none other then
one of the early vintage
founders here in the West,
Butch Fleming. Butch won with his 1968
Johnson Skee Horse and his 1972 Raider
Hawk.
Third was captured by
Frank Martin with his 1968 Ski Doo Super Olympic
Vintage rides were handed out most of the day.
